Herpal is committed to making herpal.co.uk accessible to the widest possible audience. We want everyone, regardless of disability or technology, to be able to use our service.

Our Approach

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. Specific measures we take include:

• Using semantic HTML elements with appropriate ARIA labels where needed
• Providing alt text or equivalent for non-decorative images and icons
• Ensuring all interactive elements are keyboard-navigable
• Maintaining sufficient colour contrast across all text elements
• Using legible, resizable fonts throughout the Site
• Providing focus indicators on interactive elements
• Ensuring form fields have associated labels

Known Limitations

We are actively working to improve accessibility across the Site. Some areas where we are aware of ongoing work include:

• Complex product filter panels on the search page may require additional keyboard navigation improvements
• Some third-party embedded content may not fully meet our accessibility standards
